Over 11,900 music educators throughout Texas are TMEA members. Any person who teaches music or is simply interested in supporting the purposes of TMEA may become a member. Membership offers a variety of benefits, including access to group health insurance, low-cost liability insurance, professional development opportunities, online and printed pedagogical and advocacy resources, and representation by TMEA leaders before our state’s decision makers, including the State Legislature, State Board of Education, and more. Join your colleagues today and support the future of music education in Texas.
July 1–June 30
There are five levels of membership. Ensure when you join or renew that your membership level is appropriate for your status either as a student or music teacher.
